1. When the body hasn't caught up
The challenge
This client had retired from a demanding NHS career and rebuilt a happy new life.
Counselling had helped her process the emotional impact of leaving her profession, yet she continued to feel persistent joint pain, physical exhaustion and anxiety.
What we discovered
Looking at her posture revealed how her body was still holding the movement patterns of countless hours spent supporting women in labour: kneeling, twisting and reaching in ways that had become deeply ingrained.
While her mind had moved on, her body was still responding as if it needed to keep pushing through.
The outcome
Our work focused on helping her body recognise that those demands had ended.
As old holding patterns began to soften, she experienced greater ease in movement and a growing sense that her body, as well as her mind, could finally begin to let go.

Whether the challenge is showing up in your body, your work or your personal life, help is at hand.
